Join Max Perelman at the 4th Conference on Mitigation Strategies for Infectious Diseases as he discusses “Rapid Deployment of Molecular Testing: From Lab to the Sample”. Max will cover how field-based molecular detection technologies are enabling real-time pathogen detection and disease surveillance at the point-of-need. He will highlight a variety of use cases in veterinary, aquaculture, vector surveillance, carcass sampling, and working upstream to MinION sequencing.

About Max

Max Perelman is a co-founder here at Biomeme where he leads business and operations. Prior to founding Biomeme 6 years ago, Max spent 15 years in a range of industries, including: environmental consulting and green building technology, eCommerce and enterprise systems development, and management consulting. After launching his career in San Francisco, Max lived in Asia for almost a decade, leading projects in Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, and Tokyo. He has a BA from Cornell University and an MBA/MAIEP from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

The 148th Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society is expecting an attendance of over 2,000 fisheries and aquaculture scientists; federal, tribal, state, and local administrators, directors, and elected officials; educators; consultants; and marine and freshwater fishing industries. This year it’s taking place in Atlantic City, NJ from August 19th - 23rd.
