Biomeme is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Our products consolidate the functionality of an entire molecular diagnostic lab into a small, field-portable, and battery-operated solution that can be rapidly deployed to provide fast and accurate results in a wide range of industries. Responsibilities will include the design, development, manufacture, and testing of printed circuit boards used in current Biomeme qPCR thermocycler products and accessories.



– Circuit design, simulation, and modeling

– PCB layout and Schematic Capture

– Product R&D

– Test Development

– Algorithm Design

– Embedded Software Development



– Schematic Design/Capture with Altium Designer

– SPICE modeling with LTSpice, PSpice, or Altium Mixed Simulation tools

– Python, C#, C/C++ programming

– Microcontroller Programming with AVR, PIC, STM32, or other comparable ARM Cortex MCU’s with GCC or IAR toolchains

– Statistical data analysis

– Working Knowledge of Control System design and implementation

– Low Noise Design Techniques

– Electromechanical Systems design and integration

– Optical Sensor Design and optimization

– Flex/Rigid Flex PCB design

– Knowledge of IPC-2221/2222, IPC-6011, and other relevant standards for Printed board design



– 7+ years experience

– Comfortable in a fast-paced, and self-directed work environment

– Detail-oriented

– Good documentation skills

– MS Office / G Suite Proficiency

– Able to lift 50+ pounds from ground to eye level
