Adit Ginde, MD, MPH

Dr. Ginde's research focuses on conducting clinical trials across various healthcare settings, including emergency departments, ICUs, perioperative, and outpatient areas. His work is primarily centered on the early care of critically ill and injured patients, especially in the realms of acute respiratory failure and sepsis/infection, including COVID-19.

 

Keith Kaye, MD, MPH

Past President, Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA)

Dr. Kaye is a renowned expert in the prevention and management of healthcare-associated infections, particularly those caused by multi-drug resistant (MDR) pathogens. His areas of expertise also encompass antimicrobial stewardship, infections in older adults, and surgical site infections.

Charles Chiu, MD, PhD

Associate Director, UCSF Clinical Microbiology Laboratory

Dr. Chiu leads a translational research laboratory dedicated to developing clinical metagenomic next-generation sequencing assays for diagnosis of infectious diseases, host response profiling, pathogen discovery, and bioinformatics software development. His research also extends to nanopore sequencing and the characterization of emerging infections.

 

Geoffrey Ling, MD, PhD

Professor of Neurology, Uniformed Services Univ. of the Health Sciences
Professor of Neurology and Attending Physician, Neuro Critical Care, Johns Hopkins Hospital

Dr. Ling retired from the United States Army as a colonel and is the former Assistant Director for Medical Innovation at the White House. Dr. Ling also served as the founding director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Biological Technologies Office, where his research portfolio included combining biomarkers and advanced analytics to diagnose disease in their presymptomatic stages. Dr. Ling is a recipient of the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, Legion of Merit, and the Order of Military Medical Merit.
